Brooke Dobó, Women’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist.
Brooke is a practitioner who combines deep clinical knowledge with genuine care and presence. Her approach is both evidence-informed and holistic, and she is deeply committed to supporting women in a way that feels respectful, individualised and empowering.
Brooke has an extensive background in women’s and pelvic health physiotherapy, with training that includes a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (First Class Honours), a Master of Physiotherapy, and further postgraduate qualifications in pelvic floor rehabilitation and women’s health, including a Master of Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy through The University of Melbourne. Brooke brings this knowledge into practice, thoughtfully, carefully, and always with the woman in front of her at the centre of care.
She works with women across all life stages and supports concerns such as:
- Persistent pelvic pain
- Pelvic floor function (including bladder and bowel health)
- Peri and Post menopause
- Antenatal and postnatal care
- Pre and post gynaecological surgery support
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Cycle optimisation
Brooke also has a particular interest in sexual function and optimisation, an area that is so often overlooked, yet plays a vital role in wellbeing, confidence and quality of life.
Brooke has worked in both hospital and private practice settings and has been part of multidisciplinary women’s health teams alongside gynaecologists, obstetricians and allied health practitioners, including her time at Eve Health in Brisbane. She also teaches future physiotherapists as a Sessional Teaching Fellow at Bond University, sharing her knowledge and experience in women’s health education, both locally and internationally.
Brooke places great value on listening and understanding each woman’s individual story. She recognises that every woman’s story is different, and that healing looks different for everyone. Brooke creates a space where women feel heard, respected and supported, and she is a passionate advocate for women’s health and LGBTIQA+ inclusive care.
